Russian defence ministry: Some 281 Ukrainian drones downed in 24 hours

Russia’s Ministry of Defence has said that its air defence forces shot down 281 drones and two guided aerial bombs launched by the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past 24 hours.

In a statement released on October 25, the ministry said that the air defence forces shot down two guided aerial bombs and 281 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media. 

According to the ministry, since the start of the war in Ukraine, Russian forces have destroyed a total of 668 aircraft, 283 helicopters, and 92,459 drones, along with thousands of other military assets including 25,664 tanks and armoured vehicles.
