Russian defence ministry to ban transfer of drone troops without consent PHOTO
The Russian Armed Forces will prohibit the transfer of service members from unmanned systems units to other military formations without their consent until the end of April.
More than 8,500 fake reports related to Russia’s unmanned systems forces have been identified online since the beginning of the year, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Russian Ministry of Defence.
To dispel myths and rumours, Russia’s Ministry of Defence has provided detailed explanations regarding contract service conditions in unmanned systems units.
The ministry outlined the following areas:
-
principles for selecting candidates from among university students
-
terms of contracts and service conditions
-
guarantees of fulfilment of obligations by the Ministry of Defence
-
answers to key public questions
The ministry also stated that informational materials summarise the main points, including contract terms, key provisions, and statements from students themselves.
