Russian Defense Ministry gets new batch of missiles for Pantsir systems

The High-Precision Systems holding of the Russian state corporation Rostec has delivered a new batch of guided anti-aircraft missiles for the Pantsir air defense systems to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The shipment included both standard missiles and short-range intercept munitions, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

According to the corporation, the use of mini-missiles allows the Pantsir systems’ ammunition load to increase from 12 to 48 missiles, providing flexibility in deploying different types of weaponry depending on the mission.

Pantsir systems are considered among the most effective air defense tools, capable of neutralizing ATACMS, Storm Shadow, and HARM missiles, as well as targeting small drones.
