Russian drone strikes hit Chernihiv region, injuring two civilians Photo

Russian strike drones targeted Ukraine’s Chernihiv region, causing fires and injuring two people, local officials say. 

Dmytro Bryzhynsky, head of the Chernihiv city military administration, said that one Shahed-type drone fell in a residential area, igniting a fire in a private home and causing burn injuries to the residents, Caliber.Az reports.

The State Emergency Service confirmed that the village of Zhadove, in the Semenivska community of the Novhorod-Siverskyi district, was also struck. 

The attacks hit an unused fire brigade building, a residential house, and a farm structure. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fires, and preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties or injuries in Zhadove.
