Russian envoy calls IAEA resolution on Iran “outrageous, cynical” VIDEO
Russia’s Permanent Representative to international organisations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, has described the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) resolution against Iran’s nuclear program as “outrageous” and “cynical.”
Speaking to Iran International, he also held the United States and Israel responsible for undermining cooperation between Iran and the IAEA.
Ulyanov said that the United States must negotiate with Iran and establish a reliable ceasefire, adding that talks on nuclear issues should begin.

The IAEA Board of Governors recently adopted resolution GOV/2026/40 on June 10, 2026, which calls on Iran to provide complete information on its nuclear material inventories, particularly remaining enriched uranium stocks, and to grant inspectors the necessary access for verification without delay.
This follows previous findings of non-compliance, including after military strikes on Iranian nuclear sites in June 2025 that damaged facilities and disrupted monitoring activities.
