Russian ex-president: US always leaves its friends, same thing awaits Ukraine

Former Russian President and ongoing Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has said that the United States had always abandoned its friends and sooner or later this would happen to Ukraine.

The topic of issuing money for Ukraine is becoming "toxic" in the US, he wrote in his Telegram channel.

He noted that American congressmen demand total checks of where a lot of money goes, and added that "big money" will continue to be allocated to militarise Ukraine.

Over time, it will become more and more difficult to do this, as the mood among ordinary Americans "gradually turns towards reality". According to the former president, this effect will accumulate until the “reckless support” to Kyiv is suspended in Congress.

“And it will happen. America has always abandoned its friends and its best ‘sons of bitches’. So it will be sooner or later this time too,” he added.
