Russian FM, Armenian Speaker to meet in Moscow on February 5

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold talks in Moscow with Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan on February 5, the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova announced at a briefing.

Zakharova stated that Simonyan was visiting Moscow on an official trip at the invitation of the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

She added that the discussions will focus on current issues of bilateral cooperation and regional matters.

“Particular attention will be given to Moscow and Yerevan’s interaction within Eurasian structures and the ongoing dialogue in this framework,” Zakharova noted.
