Russian FM hints: Armenia aware of Intervision 2025 but chose not to participate

Armenia was fully aware of the upcoming Intervision 2025 International Music Contest but did not send any cultural representatives, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

Speaking at a press conference on the event, Lavrov emphasised that the absence of Armenian participants is not Russia’s responsibility, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media. 

He added that Russia would be pleased to see Armenian artists take part in the contest, expressing hope that “everyone, including our Armenian friends,” could join.

The Intervision 2025 contest is scheduled to take place in Moscow on September 20.
