Russian forces intercept 114 Ukrainian UAVs, defence ministry says

The Russian Ministry of Defence has announced the successful interception and destruction of 114 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during the night of September 22. 

According to the ministry’s statement, Russian air defence forces effectively neutralised the UAVs across several regions, preventing potential threats, Caliber.Az reports.

In the Rostov Region and Krasnodar territory, 25 UAVs were downed. The Belgorod region saw 19 UAVs destroyed, while 13 were intercepted over the Astrakhan region. A total of 10 UAVs were taken down over occupied Crimea, and 7 over the Bryansk region. Additionally, 5 UAVs were neutralised over the waters of the Sea of Azov.

Further interceptions included 3 UAVs over the Yaroslavl region and another 3 over the Volgograd region. Two UAVs were destroyed over the waters of the Black Sea, and 1 UAV each was brought down over the Kursk and Voronezh regions.
