Russian forces intercept nearly 680 Ukrainian drones in 24 hours

Russian air defence forces intercepted and destroyed nearly 680 Ukrainian drones over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defence Ministry announced.

Russian military officials said their forces had also neutralised a range of other aerial threats.

“Two Neptune-MD long-range guided missiles, eight guided aerial bombs, one HIMARS multiple-launch rocket system projectile manufactured in the United States, and 678 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed,” the ministry said in a statement.
