Russian forces shoot down 32 Ukrainian drones overnight
The Russian Ministry of Defence has announced that air defence units intercepted and destroyed 32 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over several regions on the night of August 10 to 11.
The ministry specified the distribution as follows: seven drones over Belgorod Region; five each over Bryansk and Kaluga Regions; four over Crimea; two each over Oryol, Kursk, Voronezh, Ryazan Regions, and the Moscow region; and one over Tula Region, Caliber.Az reports.
This follows a similar operation during the night of August 7 to 8, when Russian air defence forces intercepted and destroyed 30 UAVs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
At that time, nine drones were shot down over Rostov Oblast, eight over the Republic of Crimea, six over Saratov Oblast, five over Bryansk Oblast, and one each over Belgorod and Volgograd Oblasts.
