Russian foreign ministry expects next 3+3 meeting in Baku or Yerevan
Russia expects the next meeting of the 3+3 format on the South Caucasus at the foreign minister level to take place in either Baku or Yerevan, with discussions on the issue currently ongoing, Mikhail Galuzin, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, has stated.
Speaking at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Galuzin said he would also like to welcome, in particular, the participation of a representative from Georgia’s expert circles in the discussion, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
“For us, as I am sure for all participants of the platform, Georgia remains an important partner, without which the prospects of 3+3 would hardly be complete. I hope that in time official Tbilisi will also join our work,” he added during a session titled The 3+3 Platform: Common Challenges and Strategic Partnership.
