Thirty-one people, including five minors, were taken to medical facilities with injuries of varying severity, the committee added, Caliber.Az reports.
Vladimir Saldo, the regional governor, said the strike occurred during New Year celebrations in the village of Khorly. The Ukrainian General Staff, however, denied responsibility.
Dmytro Lykhoviy, spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated that Ukrainian defence forces adhere to international humanitarian law and target only legitimate military objectives, including fuel and energy infrastructure, aiming to diminish the military capabilities of the aggressor country.
