Russian MFA spokesperson: Moscow to consider concrete US proposals on Ukraine

Russia will not reject concrete proposals from the United States aimed at resolving the war in Ukraine, but will continue working toward its stated objectives, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

“The goals have been defined, the tasks have been set. If there are concrete proposals, no one here will ever reject them,” Zakharova said, commenting on the U.S. administration’s position on the war, Russian media reports.

She added that Russians remember President Vladimir Putin’s frequently repeated phrase, “Work, brothers.”

Zakharova said that in her own speeches, she usually expanded the phrase by adding, “And sisters, too.”
