Multiple Russian regions targeted in large-scale Ukrainian drone raid
Several Russian regions came under drone attacks overnight, with air defence systems intercepting multiple unmanned aerial vehicles, according to regional officials.
In the Rostov region, a drone was shot down in the city of Volgodonsk, Governor Yury Slyusar said on his Telegram channel, adding that information on possible damage or casualties is being clarified.
In the Voronezh region, air defence forces destroyed several drones during the night of May 14, with no reported consequences.
Earlier, the number of drones targeting the Tula region had risen to 10, all of which were intercepted by air defence systems. A UAV threat alert remained in effect in the region from 3:27 a.m. to 11:09 p.m. Air defences downed five drones overnight, three during the day, and two late in the evening.
