Russian strikes hit five Kharkiv region settlements, wounding civilians Photo
Russian forces carried out strikes on five settlements in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region over the past 24 hours, injuring at least two civilians, regional authorities said on December 12.
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Sinegubov’s post on Telegram, a 73-year-old man was wounded in the village of Novoplatonivka in the Borivska community, while a 67-year-old man sustained injuries in the village of Vysokyi, Caliber.Az reports.
Medical teams also treated a 59-year-old man who had been wounded on December 10 during shelling in Kupyansk-Uzlovaya, part of the Kupyansk community.
Sinegubov said Russian forces used guided aerial bombs (KABs), Geran-2 attack drones, and FPV drones in the latest series of strikes. Ukrainian authorities recorded 174 combat clashes across the region in the past day.
The attacks damaged and destroyed civilian infrastructure in several locations.
A photo released by local officials shows significant destruction in Vysokyi following the shelling.
