Russian troops capture high-ranking officers of Ukrainian army

The commander of the 36th birgade of the Ukrainian army’s marine forces, Hero of Ukraine, Colonel Volodymyr Baraniuk, and Chief of Staff, Colonel Dmitriy Kormyankov were taken as hostages by the Russian troops in the Mariupol city of Ukraine.

Baraniuk was reportedly captured while trying to get out of the “Azovmash” factory in the city on Sunday, RIA Novosti reports.
