Second explosion hits residential building in Russia's Angarsk within days VIDEO
An explosion occurred in a five-story residential building in Angarsk, Russia—marking the second such incident in the city in recent days.
According to eyewitnesses cited by SHOT, a loud bang was heard in the building at 7th Microdistrict, 11, followed by several windows being blown out on the fifth floor.
Emergency services are working at the scene. No information on casualties has been reported so far.
The latest blast comes just days after a deadly gas explosion in the same city on September 15, when a gas explosion struck another multi-story apartment building in 12th Microdistrict. Russia’s Emergency Ministry said the blast killed a 56-year-old man, whose body was found under the debris.
Three others were injured, including a 40-year-old man and his 12-year-old daughter, who were hospitalised. Seventy-nine residents, including 12 children, evacuated the building on their own. The explosion shattered windows on the first floor, though no fire followed.
