Secretary Blinken supports coordination on NATO’s response in conflict areas with Türkiye PHOTOS
Following a meeting between the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in Washington on January 19, the American diplomat expressed his support to coordinate measures taken in conflict areas such as Ukraine and Syria together with Istanbul.
As Caliber.Az reports, the US secretary published a post on his official Twitter account on this meeting that has been part of the US-Türkiye Strategic Mechanism.
"Discussed many important issues with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu as part of the US-Türkiye Strategic Mechanism. I look forward to continued coordination on NATO’s response to Russia’s unprovoked war against Ukraine, Syria, and other challenges", his post read.
