Serbian president arrives in Uzbekistan for official visit

An official welcoming ceremony was held at the Kuksaroy Presidential Palace in Tashkent on October 28 for Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, who arrived in Uzbekistan for an official visit.

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev greeted President Vučić and invited him to the podium, Caliber.Az reports via Uzbek media.

Afterwards, the two leaders posed for an official photo session before proceeding to formal talks.

In addition, Vučić will participate as a guest of honour in the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which will open in Samarkand this week.
