Six China-linked tankers cross strategic Hormuz passage in single day

At least six tankers owned or operated by China passed through the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, May 12, despite an overall decline in maritime traffic through the strategic waterway, according to vessel tracking data cited by Iran International.
Maritime tracking reports and open-source intelligence indicate that the vessels crossing the strait included:
DEEPBLUE, APEX GAS, QUAR, STARWAY, AQUILA, YUAN HUA HU, as well as the vehicle carrier CIANG JIANG KOU.
