Soldiers march in Baku on occasion of Victory Day UPDATE/VIDEO
The military personnel of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces, accompanied by military bands, marched on November 8 on various streets and avenues of the capital Baku of Azerbaijan to celebrate "Victory Day".
According to Azertag, before the start of the marching, the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the Motherland was honoured with a minute of silence. The national anthem of the Azerbaijan Republic was performed.
Then the military personnel began marching along four predetermined routes.
Military bands performed patriotic songs and marches.
The marches of military personnel, accompanied by military bands, took place also in the cities of Gandja, Barda, Fuzuli, and Lachin, as well as in the Zangilan region.

A procession of servicemen on the occasion of Victory Day has started in the Azerbaijani capital Baku.
Before the procession, organised with the accompaniment of a military band, a minute of silence was observed to commemorate the memory of martyrs, Caliber.Az reports.
