Spain left without Armenian apricots as export shipment spoils

A shipment of apricots exported from Armenia to Spain has spoiled during transportation, resulting in substantial losses, according to Armenian media.

The damage was significant, as the Armenian apricots shipped to Europe were deemed unfit for sale.

Representatives of the Armenian community in Spain said they are determined to make every effort to deliver a new batch of fresh apricots.

“This is not the end,” the community said in a statement.
