Spiegel: German police search alleged Hamas supporters' homes

In four federal states of Germany, searches were carried out in the homes of alleged supporters of the Palestinian radical group Hamas.

“During the raid, 15 buildings were searched in Berlin, North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein,” Der Spiegel writes.

The security forces are focusing on representatives of the German Palestinian community, which is called “the most important organization for Hamas supporters in Germany.” Its headquarters are located in Berlin. It is assumed that the core of those supporting Hamas numbers about 450 people.
