Student opens fire at bus carrying workers in Russia’s Khabarovsk region

A 19-year-old student has been detained after firing shots at a bus, carrying workers, in the Khabarovsk region of Russia. 

The incident occurred in the town of Sovetskaya Gavan, where the young man was walking with friends and allegedly decided to demonstrate a newly acquired air gun. He fired several shots toward Pionerskaya Road, one of which struck a company bus transporting workers home after their shift, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media. 

No injuries were reported, and the damage was limited to the vehicle’s bodywork, officials said.

The suspect was taken into custody, and a criminal case has been opened on charges of hooliganism.
