Syrian airline Fly Cham has announced the launch of direct flights between Aleppo and Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.
The first flight is scheduled for November 7, marking a new regional air route connecting Syria and Armenia, Caliber.Az reports per the company’s post on X.
Fly Cham is a relatively new Syrian airline, established in May 2025 as part of a joint investment initiative between Syria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Backed by UAE interests, the carrier is headquartered in Damascus and aims to expand Syria's aviation connectivity amid post-conflict recovery efforts. It launched its inaugural flight on June 11, 2025, from Damascus International Airport to Abu Dhabi.
