Tata Steel’s European branch decides to halt business relations with Russia

The division of the Indian steel company Tata Steel in Europe has decided to terminate business relations with Russia.

“Tata Steel has no operations or employees in Russia. We have made a conscious decision to stop doing business with Russia,” a company representative said, according to a report published on the company's website.

According to him, all steel mills in India, the UK and the Netherlands have begun to use other sources of raw materials to get rid of Russian dependence.

Tata Steel Europe is headquartered in London. The parent company's website does not mention any changes in business with Russia. The company was founded in 1999. The main enterprises are located in the UK and the Netherlands.
