Tbilisi-Moscow flight makes emergency landing in Russia’s Mineralnye Vody

An Azimuth Airlines flight from Tbilisi, Georgia, to Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport made an emergency landing at a reserve airport in Mineralnye Vody due to technical issues, the airline confirmed.

Azimuth Airlines said that the landing was successful and that passengers would continue to Moscow on a backup flight, Caliber.Az reports. 

The airline stated that all passengers are being provided with services in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations while the replacement aircraft is being prepared.

Azimuth Airlines, based at Krasnodar and Mineralnye Vody airports, operates a fleet of 19 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft.
