Tehran pledges severe response to any external aggression
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned that the Islamic Republic will respond harshly to any hostile actions from abroad.
Posting on X, Pezeshkian stated that Iran would deliver a severe response to any violent aggression and would ensure that the enemy regrets its actions, underlining the country’s readiness to take decisive measures to protect its security and sovereignty, Caliber.Az reports.
پاسخ جمهوری اسلامی ایران به هر تجاوز ستمکارانهای، سخت و پشیمان کننده خواهد بود.

Earlier, Ali Shamkhani, political adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, expressed a similar stance, warning that any aggression against Iran would trigger an immediate and strong response.
He noted that Iran’s defence doctrine allows for certain countermeasures even before a threat materialises, and emphasised that the country’s missile and defence capabilities are beyond external control and require no outside permission.
The statements follow remarks by US President Donald Trump at a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he warned Tehran of serious consequences if it attempts to restart its nuclear program.
Trump acknowledged the possibility that Iran could build new facilities to restore its missile potential but said there is no confirmed evidence of such activity.
