Thick smoke rises over Moscow region after overnight drone attack PHOTO/VIDEO
Thick black smoke was seen rising over the eastern Moscow Region on July 18 following an overnight drone attack that targeted an oil depot and a Wildberries logistics centre, according to local Telegram channel Exilenova+.
The channel published videos showing large plumes of smoke billowing over the region. The footage has not been independently verified.
According to satellite imagery cited in the reports, the source of the smoke appears to be in the Noginsk area, east of Moscow. The smoke was reportedly drifting southward and was visible from several locations, including near Moscow's Domodedovo Airport.

The attack took place overnight on July 18 and targeted both an oil storage facility and a logistics centre operated by Wildberries, one of Russia's largest e-commerce companies.
Russian authorities have not immediately commented on the reported strike or confirmed the extent of any damage.
