Three US bases hit by missiles in northeastern Syria
A US military base near the Al-Omar oil field in the Syrian Deir ez-Zur province has been attacked by missile attacks.
“A US military base near the Al-Omar oil field in the Syrian Deir ez-Zur province has been attacked by missile attacks. Several powerful explosions occurred at the US military base. There is no information about casualties or property damage yet,” Al-Mayadeen TV channel reports.
Another attack was made on a US base in Al-Malikiyah in northern Hasakah province on December 16, several explosions were heard, Sham FM radio station reports, citing eyewitnesses.
According to Sham FM radio station, military equipment from neighbouring Iraq is still transferred to the US bases in Syria. So, two military transport planes with weapons and ammunition landed at the airfield in Harrab al-Jair on December 16, which was used by the US forces.
