The trilateral meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan, set to take place in Ankara on January 29, will focus on a broad range of cooperation between the countries.
Akhror Burkhanov, the spokesperson for the Uzbek Foreign Minister, highlighted the significance of the upcoming meeting, describing the platform as crucial for unlocking the substantial untapped potential among the nations involved, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
He emphasized that the agenda for the meeting is comprehensive, reflecting the desire for deeper collaboration across various sectors.
Burkhanov also clarified that discussions about involving other countries in this trilateral format are not being considered at present. Looking ahead, he noted that a series of events and high-level visits are planned for 2025 to further strengthen bilateral relations between Baku and Tashkent.
This trilateral cooperation began with the first foreign ministers’ meeting held in Uzbekistan on August 2, 2022, and continues to serve as a key platform for advancing diplomatic and economic ties between Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan.
