U.S. President Donald Trump opened a cabinet  meeting to discuss the situation in the Middle East following the agreement reached between Hamas and Israel. Fox News was broadcasting the live session.

According to the President, the release of prisoners is scheduled for Monday or Tuesday. He also stated that an agreement on the Gaza Strip will be signed during his upcoming visit to Egypt. The meeting is being held to coordinate the next steps of the U.S. government in light of the agreement and to ensure stability in the region.

• Trump announced the end of the conflict between Israel and Hamas.

• The U.S. President said the Gaza Strip will be fully rebuilt.

• Better living conditions will be created for Gaza residents, as living there is currently impossible.

• The remaining hostages are expected to be released on Monday or Tuesday.

• This weekend, Trump plans to travel to Egypt, where peace documents will be signed.

• Trump stated that he has no personal stance on the two-state solution regarding Israel and Palestine and is ready to support any peace agreements reached by the parties.

• Without this strike, Iran could have had numerous nuclear weapons, which would have overshadowed any agreement.

• The U.S. imposed major sanctions on Iran, but Trump noted the desire to help the country recover.

• The President thanked the leaders of Qatar, Egypt, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Indonesia for their assistance in concluding the deal.

U.S. President Donald Trump has opened a cabinet meeting to discuss the situation in the Middle East following a recent agreement between Hamas and Israel, a live broadcast on Fox News reported.

During the session, Trump stated that the release of detainees is scheduled for October 13 or 14. 

He also announced that an agreement concerning the Gaza Strip will be signed during his upcoming visit to Egypt.

The meeting aims to coordinate the U.S. government’s next steps in light of the agreement and to ensure stability in the region.
