Turkish Airlines jet hits radar mast during parking in Antalya

A Turkish Airlines Boeing 777 struck a ground radar antenna mast with its right wing while taxiing to its stand at Antalya Airport, the carrier said on Friday, June 12.

The aircraft, registered TC-LKD and operating flight TK2430 from Istanbul to Antalya, made contact with the mast during parking, according to a statement by Yahya Üstün, the airline’s director of communications, posted on social media.

“All 267 passengers on board our aircraft were safely evacuated. Information has been received that one slightly injured passenger is in good condition,” Üstün said.
