"Over the past week, 24 terrorists have been neutralised," Akturk reported.
"Since the beginning of the year, a total of 502 terrorists have been neutralised, with 296 eliminated in northern Syria and 206 in northern Iraq," the spokesman added.
He reiterated the commitment of the Turkish Armed Forces, saying, "Our fight will continue uninterrupted until the last terrorist who poses a threat to our country is eliminated."
The Turkish National Intelligence Organisation has consistently targeted PKK/KSK members who pose a threat to Türkiye, using intelligence-based strategies to eliminate key operatives.
The PKK, which is recognised as a terrorist organisation by Türkiye, the US, and the EU, has conducted a violent insurgency against Türkiye for over 40 years, resulting in more than 40,000 deaths, including those of women and children.
The Turkish government has repeatedly emphasized the necessity of eliminating terrorist threats at their source to ensure the safety and security of the Turkish people.
