Turkish-Egyptian navies wrap up Friendship Sea joint drills VIDEO
Joint Egyptian-Turkish exercises "Dostluk Denizi-2025" (Friendship Sea – 2025) have concluded in Türkiye, involving the naval forces of both countries.
The exercises, which began on September 22, aimed to strengthen military cooperation between Egypt and Türkiye and to exchange experience in line with modern combat methods, Caliber.Az reports, citing the X page of the Turkish Ministry of National Defence.

The Dostluk Denizi-2025 exercises took place from September 22 to 26, 2025, in the eastern Mediterranean, off the coast of Türkiye. The manoeuvres involved the Turkish frigates TCG Orucreis and TCG Gediz, the high-speed boats TCG Imbat and TCG Bora, the submarine TCG Gur, and two F-16 fighter jets. Egypt participated in the exercises with ships and aircraft from the Egyptian Navy. The main purpose of the exercises was to strengthen military cooperation between the countries and exchange experience in modern methods of warfare.
