Turkish TF-X fighter undergoes engine start test

The TF-X national fighter jet, one of Türkiye's key technology projects, is being fast-tracked for a ceremony to leave the hangar.

The announcement came from the Turkish Aerospace Industries CEO Temel Kotil, according to the local news service Yeniakit.

"We have started the engine on the TF-X. In the coming days, the fighter will leave the hangar with its engine running. From now on, we are looking forward to a day of the ceremony from our president," he said.
