Türkiye destroys 78 targets, 77 terrorists – defence minister VIDEO

Turkish Minister of National Defence Yasar Guler has said that 78 targets consisting of caves, shelters and oil facilities were destroyed and 77 terrorists were neutralized as a result of air operations conducted in northern Iraq and Syria.

"On January 12, unfortunately, 9 of our heroic comrades lost their lives in the Claw-Lock (Pençe-Kilit) Operation area. On this occasion, I wish God’s mercy on our martyrs, speedy recovery to the wounded, condolences and patience to their grieving families and our noble nation. There was an immediate response to the attack and 23 terrorists were neutralized during the battle. Subsequently, air operations in Metina, Hakurk, Gara and Qandil regions in the north of the country destroyed a total of 78 targets, including caves, bunkers, hideouts and oil facilities used by the terrorist organization. A total of 77 terrorists were neutralized," the minister said, Caliber.Az reports.
