Türkiye, Egypt sign memorandum to expand defence cooperation

Türkiye and Egypt have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening defence cooperation between the two countries.

The agreement was signed in Ankara following talks between Turkish Defence Minister Yaşar Güler and his Egyptian counterpart, Ashraf Salem Zaher, according to Türkiye's Ministry of National Defence, Caliber.Az reports.

The ministry said the memorandum is intended to develop bilateral cooperation in the defence sector but did not disclose further details about its provisions.
