Türkiye’s ongoing counterterrorism efforts reflect its unwavering commitment to eliminating terrorist threats and ensuring regional stability. The Turkish government uses the term "neutralized" to indicate that terrorists have been either killed, captured, or have surrendered.
The PKK, designated as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the US, and the EU, has waged a decades-long insurgency against Türkiye, resulting in over 40,000 deaths, including women and children.
