Türkiye, Italy sign new joint venture agreement VIDEO
Türkiye and Italy have signed a "Joint Venture Agreement" between Italian aerospace company Magnaghi Aerospace and Türkiye’s ASFAT to strengthen their defence industry cooperation.
The agreement was formalised during the TEKNOFEST aerospace and technology festival, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.

The partnership aims to establish a Maintenance, Repair, and Modernization (MRM) Center in Türkiye. This facility will be dedicated primarily to the maintenance and repair of landing gear systems for military platforms used by the Turkish Armed Forces. The joint venture will focus initially on servicing the landing gear of ATAK helicopters, a key asset in Türkiye’s military aviation fleet.
Magnaghi Aerospace, renowned for its expertise in the design, production, and maintenance of landing gear systems, also specializes in the development of related subsystems such as hydraulic and electromechanical components for aerial platforms.
