Türkiye, Qatar discuss regional tensions, US–Iran talks in phone call

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a telephone conversation with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, to discuss regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts involving the United States and Iran.

According to sources at Türkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two officials exchanged views on the current situation in the region, with particular focus on recent negotiations between the United States and Iran, Turkish media reports.

The conversation comes amid heightened diplomatic activity aimed at managing tensions in the Middle East and preventing further escalation across multiple flashpoints.
