Türkiye, Russia see no issues in bilateral ties, Turkish FM says
There are no issues preventing bilateral cooperation between Türkiye and Russia, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said in an interview with Türkiye newspaper following his recent visit to Russia.
“In all the meetings held [during the negotiations], we have confirmed that there are no problems in joint work on bilateral relations and regional issues. There are no issues that cause serious concerns in bilateral relations. Both countries are willing to cooperate across all possible areas,” the minister noted.
He added that the two countries continue to address complex and sensitive topics while openly exchanging views. Fidan also described relations with Russia as “special,” noting that even in areas of disagreement, Ankara and Moscow are able to maintain dialogue and build trust.
