Two Armenia bloc candidates detained in separate court decisions PHOTO

Ruslan Barsegyan, a candidate for Armenia’s National Assembly from the opposition “Armenia” bloc, has been remanded in custody for two months.

In a separate decision, another candidate from the same bloc, Asatur Kocharyan, has been placed under house arrest as a precautionary measure, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

No further details were immediately provided regarding the charges or the circumstances leading to the court rulings.
