Two civilians die in separate attacks in Russia's Belgorod Region
Two civilians were killed in Russia’s Belgorod Region as a result of attacks by Ukraine’s Armed Forces, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.
According to Gladkov, a man was killed in a drone strike in the village of Novostroyevka-Pervaya in the Grayvoron district.
He said the victim died at the scene from his injuries. In a separate incident, a drone struck a private house in the village of Belyanka in the Shebekino district, where another man was also killed on the spot.
The governor expressed condolences to the families and relatives of those who died.
Gladkov also recalled that on January 5, two civilians, including a six-year-old child, were injured during an attack by Ukrainian forces.
Earlier, the city of Grayvoron was also hit, leaving a woman wounded. She was taken to the hospital by members of local self-defence units suffering from barotrauma as well as shrapnel injuries to her face and hand, the governor said.
