Two killed, 16 injured in missile attack on Russia’s Belgorod region

Two people were killed and 16 others injured in a missile attack by Ukrainian forces on Belgorod, local authorities have said.

Belgorod Region acting Governor Alexander Shuvayev noted that the victims were a man and a 16-year-old teenager, Caliber.Az reports, citing ASTRA.

“Another 16 people were injured. Seven of them are teenagers aged 16 and 17, one of whom is in serious condition. Two of the injured adults are also in serious condition,” he added.

A man at one of the administrative buildings was also injured, suffering shrapnel wounds to his arms.

The attack sparked fires at seven warehouse facilities, one of which suffered a roof collapse.
