UAE, Italy sign defence cooperation agreement, pledge deeper military ties
The United Arab Emirates and Italy have signed a defenсe cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening military coordination and expanding the exchange of expertise between the two countries, according to the UAE Ministry of Defence.
The announcement came following a meeting between Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defenсe Affairs, and Guido Crosetto, Italian Minister of Defenсe, Caliber.Az reports

According to the UAE Ministry of Defence, the talks focused on regional developments and broader efforts to enhance bilateral defence ties.
Both sides also reviewed current security challenges, underlining the importance of continued coordination between Abu Dhabi and Rome in addressing regional instability and supporting international security efforts.
A key outcome of the meeting was the signing of a formal cooperation agreement in the defence sector. The accord is intended to deepen military collaboration, improve interoperability, and facilitate the exchange of expertise between the two armed forces.
