The contract, signed during IDEX 2025, will equip the GARMOOSHA UAS with a new, fully integrated non-kinetic payload that includes versatile moving target indication modes. These advanced modes will enhance the GARMOOSHA's ability to detect and track potential targets, providing an unparalleled edge in tactical intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
Additionally, the MILSAR radar will offer synthetic aperture radar (SAR) capabilities, ensuring high-resolution, all-weather imagery, target classification, and ground mapping—critical for modern military operations.
The GARMOOSHA, developed and manufactured by ADASI, is the first fully UAE-made rotary-wing UAS in its class. Designed specifically for tactical ISR missions, the system is poised to become an essential asset for operators requiring precise surveillance in complex environments. The integration of the MILSAR radar will further solidify the GARMOOSHA’s role in cutting-edge military operations, particularly in detection and monitoring tasks across various terrain types.
“By integrating the MILSAR radar into the GARMOOSHA UAS, we are offering a highly effective and versatile solution for ISR needs, ensuring that our clients are equipped with the most advanced technologies available in defense,” said an ADASI spokesperson.
