UAE sends six humanitarian aid planes to Syria

Rear Admiral Oleg Gurinov, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria, has said that six cargo planes arrived in Syria from the United Arab Emirates on February 26.

“With the assistance of the Russian group of troops [forces] within the framework of international cooperation, humanitarian aid continues to arrive from other countries. So, yesterday [on February 26], six cargo planes arrived in Syria from the United Arab Emirates, and three of them went to the Khmeimim airbase,” Gurinov said, according to Gazeta.Ru.

According to the data, since February 7, 198 planes with humanitarian aid have arrived in Syria from 19 countries, of which 73 landed and were unloaded at a Russian airbase.
