Ukraine attack damages cellular tower in Russia’s Chuvashia

A cellular communications tower was damaged in Russia’s Chuvashia Republic following a Ukrainian drone attack, regional head Oleg Nikolayev said on Telegram.

According to preliminary information, two drones were destroyed over the republic overnight. There were no casualties or injuries, while a cellular tower was reportedly damaged.

Emergency services remain at the scene, and the circumstances of the incident are being clarified.

Nikolayev urged residents to remain calm and refrain from filming air defence operations.
